I have had the same problem...finally found a fix! You need to put some type of weatherstripping/foam on top of your door surrounds. I went to NAPA and bought the foam that people line the top of their truck beds with prior to putting a cap on...cushions the top and protects the metal from getting scratched. It was $8.99

The bad news is the sticky backing is not that sticky and I am sure will come off! I plan to just run a bead of crazy glue gel under it...you can always get it off if need be later with a blade and goo gone. I did this last week prior to the big rain/storm that was blowing across the country and stayed bone dry! There may be more detailed instructions on here somewhere, as that is where I got the idea...but hey it works!

So just on the top of the door surrounds? Did you remove the existing whether strip?

On top of the plastic door surrounds exactly! Mine did not have any weatherstrip there at all. I ran it the full length of the front door surround...no issues since.

Oh ok, gotcha! I have tried putting foam/whether stripping here and there but it always seems to still leak! It's like a never ending battle lol!

The best fix for mine was when I took it to a shop and they stuck a piece of 2x4 in the door and reamed on the top corner.

He rolled down the windows, placed a piece of board in the door and pushed in the top right corner... little to no leaking since (they did this around last November).

I don't understand? They reamed the top corner of the soft top with a 2x4?

nope, the door itself.
2x4 in the door jam, then push on the top of the door.

Someone on this forum said it was an old fix.
