Default 2008 top on a 2010

All-

Noob here. Ihave a 2010 and am looking to get a softop. If I buy an unused 2008 Soft top for my Unlimited will it work just fine. Any dissadvantage over a brand new 2010? I can save several hundred dollars so I think its a smart move - but want to verify.

It's rained here for 19 of the last 21 days. I haven't had a single problem with the top leaking. However, it is a Jeep and this maybe an isolated incident, but it's working for me.
