Default 2009 hardtop mounting knob thread?

Anyone know the threads on the hardtop mounting knobs? The large ones that hold the roof down against the center roll bar, where the speakers are. My WildBoar roof is still loose when the knobs are maxed out. I cut them as short as possible, but it's still not enough. I need to extend the threads down the shaft more and I need to get a thread tapper with the right thread. Anyone know what the thread specs are? This is for a 2009 JK. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No idea, but take one into the Home Depot and go to the section where the nuts are. My advice.

I would, but unfortunately JK is in France and no Home Depots there. :( I've tried to locate some kind of fastener store but no luck either. When I ask workshops where I can get stuff like that, they look at me funny. I have already wasted a ton of money on shipping stuff over that then doesn't work. That's why I'm asking for help here on the forum. Once I know the thread I can order the tool in the right size and have it sent over.

Well unless someone else is willing to help before I can. I will go to home depot on my day off and check for you and then take pics of what I find to send to you.

I'd guess it's an M8. I know the bolts that hold the door surrounds on are M8's. I bought a soft top with no hardware and had to sub in some hardware store bolts.
