Both the Jeep video, and starting on page 225 of the paper and PDF manual on dropping the sun roof only portion of the soft top, show different ways, with different parts, when detailing how to open the sun roof, compared to what I have on my 2010 JEEP

BTW, here is the JEEP video which I suspect is for a 2009 4 door unlimited

.jeep.com/en/owners/soft_top_guide/wrangler_unlimited_soft_top_guide/[/url]

I don't have the front and rear door rail retainers sewn into the soft top that they video says to pull out, nor does it look like they were ever sewn into the soft top. My leading edges of the soft top have nothing to pull out of from the drip rail retainers...my front part of the soft top edges are completely smooth

I don't have the plastic sleeves that the manual says to move

I don't have the flexible bow joint that the video shows, in order to double (actually shows a triple fold) of the header material and bow onto the top of the soft top

I searched here...many posts on this subject....can someone direct me to a post or video detailing, how, for Oct 2009 and later built 2010 Unlimited soft tops, it shows the sun roof opening information...again, I suspect everything is 2009 related...or I have a hybrid soft top and/or a JEEP that was built on a Friday or Monday.

I will try to post some pics of this.

Final question for extra credit...manual says to remove the rear window if you're driving 60MPH or above with the soft top open...does everyone do this?
Search youtube for 'airp@rk jeep wrangler soft top'... decent 2010 soft top video.

Also, it came with the door surrounds, but I don't have the 4(?) bolts that attach the surround to the frame... I've read that some people have gone to ACE Hardware (or other hardware store) for bolts that work just fine. What size/type should I get if I go that route? Also, on the door surround, just in front of the rear 'C' that goes over the frame, there are two holes, about 2" apart... does anything go there? I can send a pic if needed...

Thanks for the help!
Issue #2... One of the webbing straps (3" and goes from back corner of the frame to the frame just behind the front seats) came out of the rivets on one end. How important are those webbing straps? Should I drill out the rivets that were supposed to hold the strap and replace them with new rivets, or should I just do away with the strap all together?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I ordered my 2010 top after the fact so it has no rivets, it instead has pan head screws.

They work fine and I am sure the dealer stocks them FWIW...

Good Luck
