2011 Hardtop Harness Installed
The Hardtop wiring harness for my 2011 rubicon 4dr came in in June, and I just had the dealership install it per my vehicle purchase conditions.
When I picked up the jeep, the rear wiper would not return to its "home" position at top dead center, rather it would stop at random intervals and never return to TDC. The Service advisor originally said the jeep doesnt have a normal wiper, and it was consistant with what new jeeps do. I disagreed, and then the service advisor admitted fault.
The install was also very sloppy, the harness was ran under the carpet not tied to the existing harness or anything at all. The service advisor also told me this is how new jeeps come, which again I disagreed. Oh, and they gouged my steering wheel bezel while separating it.
Other than the service experience, or lack thereof, would my rear wiper issue be something that a can be corrected with a computer flash? The Rubicon was a soft top from the factory.

Was it because they were going to warranty it that they had to install? I would have them show you one on the lot new that looks and acts like that to prove the service advisors responses. Once you prove him wrong, make them fix everything that they screwed up, or at least find a dealership that will do it right.
