Default 2011 JK with 200,000 miles

I bought my 2011 JK new and I now have 197318 miles, mostly highway miles. I have had no major issues so far. Any recommendations for preventative maintenance for these miles?

Do you have stock steering components and control arms? 200k is a lot of miles, and given your not far from San Antonio, you should be able to find factory take off parts that are practically brand new for dirty cheap. You might just keep your eye open and if you see control arms, track bar, drag link, tie rod and such, swap em out if you have not already. Boy, I hope I can squeeze 200k out of mine!

You should be the one giving the rest of us preventative maintenance tips! I'd just keep doing what you are doing. Nice Jeep!

When I was headed out on my Al-Can trip, including above the Arctic Circle in both Canada and Alaska, I asked my mechanic (a personal friend) if there was anything preventive he recommended to reduce the chance I might be stranded hundreds of miles from the nearest help. That was at about 185K miles. His concern was the radiator. The plastic columns are susceptible to heat wear and sudden breaks--especially on rough roads (both Dempster and Dalton Highways have plenty of that, LOL). He said that depending on the damage, the coolant can drain out leaving the sensor hanging in the air while the engine overheats. Because of that, the dash gauge will be slow to respond before the engine suffers serious damage. He's seen it a few times in his forty years working on mostly 4x4 vehicles.

Other than that, I could list out for you the items I've changed, but all else was because something gave evidence it was failing or had failed. If for some reason you have the transmission out, change the seals--rear main, front and rear transmission, transfer case, and maybe differential pinions. Or at least the rear main and wait for the rest to leak.

On 88,000 and just changed out the drag link & Tie rod at due to rust seizure and couple of boots spiting grease, but was still driving OK

With all those miles, are you guys still on your original steering box ???
Reason I'm asking is that a club member with similar mileage as mine has had to change his due to springing a leak, so I'm now getting a little paranoid

160K miles and still on the original steering box. I don't have a lift which would make a difference.

Thanks for reply thats quite good to know.
Only got 2.5" AEV lift with 315/70/17 Duratracs which are quite smooth on the road and stock bumpers so not carrying additional weight.

I wonder if disconnecting the sway bar links and flexing puts additional pressure on the pitman arm ?
Plus would running chunky Mud Terrains that really 'howl' on the road transfer additional vibration to the Pitman arm / Steering box over time ?

Or I'm I over thinking here ?
