Default 2011 Tailgate

Need to replace the tailgate on my '11 (2 door). I know the dealer has it for $550 but does anyone know where I might be able to get it cheaper? I found a bunch of places online like JC Whitney that show a replacement tailgate for 2007-11 but when I enter my model year as 11 it says its not compatible. I'm guessing the 11/12s are different than the 07-10s?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe be able to call local salvage yards. Craigslist and eBay are always possibilities too if you haven't checked there. Did the dealer have it for $550 with it painted? And if you don't mind me asking why does it need to be replaced. Bad damage?

Only difference is the 2011s had a arm that keeps the gate from closing on its own when open. You could use a 2007-2010 gate and loose the arm.

Some one rear ended my Jeep. The tailgate isnt bad, it just buckled a little bit. It just bothers that I know the damage is there.

And the $550 from the dealer is unpainted.... which is pretty expensive for an unpainted piece of metal.

Thanks for the clarification... I will probably go this route.
