If you plan on 35's, go 4.10's!!!! The reason I say that is this-
Original tires are 32's, divide the new tires' diameter at 35" by the oem (32"), multiply that by 3.73 (the gear ratio Jeep has standard for JK's with 32's) and you come up with dang close to 4.10! Thus, it's like compensating for bigger tires by going with deeper gears but, you haven't had to change a dang thing! To me, that just makes good sense!

This is not a direct comparison since mine's an '11 but, mine is completely livable with 35's and 4.10's but I can tell it'd be HORRIBLE if I had 3.73's!!! (it's no speed demon either way, LOL!)

Am debating on 373 or 410 gearing on 2012 JKU Rubi I'm trading my 2010 JKU Rubi in for. Will be running no larger than 33" tires, but live in high altitude WY with not much flat driving. Off road doubt if it would make any difference either way with the new motor & trans, especially with the added reduction of the Rubicon 4 Lo, but at 70 mph I wonder if the difference in rpm would be enough to make the 373 a better choice. Knowing just what the rpm is at 70 mph on both 373 & the 410 on the same stock tires would help me make the decision. Anyone know?

If you look under the Modified Tech FAQ thread there's a comparison chart for the gears vs tire size ratio with respect to rpm at 70mph. And I believe it's been updated with a separate chart for the 2012 motor.

Now in my opinion I have the 373's and wish I had the 410's. Even with stock 32's I have to down shift for moderate inclines.

Thanks for the reply. I'm also leaning toward the 410 with the 5 speed auto. Not saying a new gear, speed, rpm ratio chart has not been made for the 2012 in the Modified Tech Forum, but if it is I can't find it & have spent considerable time looking & that's the reason I asked if anyone knew what the rpm's are at 70 mph.

Dealer I bought from said they never saw a rubi w/anything but 4.10's.

Mine didn't come w/max tow package, no extra charge for 4.10's.

4.10's is the only way to have a rubi in my book no matter what.

I like to hear the muds bark once in awhile when I want them to from a dead stop

Just picked up my 2012 Rubi Unlimited tonight. Mine is bone stock for a rubi, the only option I got was automatic transmission. Mine came with 4.10's No extra charge. Most I looked at were 3.23's. I had to search a while to find it.

Congratulations on the new Rubi. My 2010 had about all the goodies you can get stock. Didn't care for the fancy leather or navigation system. Will use a Garmin which I much prefer on the 2012 & save some big bucks. Still hoping for an answer to the rpm at 70 mph with the auto & 410 gearing. Hearing others personal satisfaction is somewhat helpful but more so to me is the actual numbers.

On the way home I was running between 70-75mph and I think I was running around 2800????? I will have to pay more attention on my way to work tomorrow.
