I was in your shoes 5 years ago with my early 07. Mine was at the dealer more than I drove it for the first couple months. After checking everything under the sun, they finally came out with a computer flash for it. Been a good and reliable vehicle ever since. Just suffer through...

It definitely is a love hate relationship. I bought a 2007 4dr Rubicon within the first six months of them coming out. Immediately I had problems with the ESB. A couple trips to the dealer and they replaced all the sensors. Then about 6 months in my auto transmission went out entirely. I could tell something was wrong and one day I was driving up a ramp leaving a parking lot and I started rolling backwards. The dealership replaced the trans the next day no questions asked. I think my situation was a bit extreme but no matter what I loved that Jeep. I just sold my 2007 and purchased a 2012. Already lifted it and threw on 35's and she's running great. Better than my 07 ever did. Hopefully any issues that need to be worked out happen under warranty and your dealership was as easy to work with as mine. Hang in there. It's worth it!

Oh, I also started feeling the steering clunk driving home yesterday. This has totally killed my first Jeep experience.

A leak is a leak...doesn't matter if it's a Jeep with a new engine or an old Ford Maverick.
Leaks happen regardless of new or old. Don't be discouraged...just get the leak fixed.

Please post the outcome ASAP. There is a lynch mob ready to string up the Pentastar. I hope the block is not cracked. Good thing everyone decided to keep their old JKs to dodge this bullet.

Ok guys, Jeep just called me and said she passed all the pressure tests, etc. I explained to them there was a huge puddle of coolant underneath the Jeep Saturday night. They claim they don't see anything.

I have a hard time believing them when it failed the most obvious one of all...the visual test.

I'm taking her to another dealership for a second opinion.

Stay tuned

Are you sure your overflow tank was not to full? Mine tends to spill over on the trail while bumping around...

I agree, definatly an overfilled tank. Keep in mind that the Pentastar engine, although new, was under developement for over 20 years. I love my new 2012, alot more power than that minivan engine it used to have.
