Default 2012 TPMS in 2010 Wrangler

Looking for some confirmation here. Had a local tire shop swap the tires from my 2012 to my 2010 Wrangler - the swap was tires only so as to keep the same wheels and original TPMS to each respective vehicle.

Well, I discovered today that they actually swapped the entire wheel and tire package. Now my 2010 wheels/TPMS/tire are on the 2012 and vice versa. I'm not getting any TPMS warning lights on the 2010 Jeep (haven't checked the 2012, but wife says no lights are on the dash).

Am I good to go or should I go back and get the wheels put back on the correct Jeep and get the tires dismounted and remounted as I orginally requested. I do actually like my TPMS to work and have an AEV to lower the threshold, so in my Jeeps, I'd prefer the TPMS to work.

Anybody confirm I'm good to go or if the TPMS will start acting up and I should get the shop to do what I paid them to do? Don't worry, I'll be going to the shop to vent and get some money back!

the 12s are different here in the states
does your 12 wheels have a rubber stem?
if they both are the aluminum stems you should be good.
if they are not compatable your tire light should be on like instantly.

i guess imust be wrong this says they will work

here is another link that states that the 10 & 12 are compatable

http://blogs.insideline.com/roadtest...s-sensors.html

but these things have internal non replacable batterys
so the 12 will last longer than the 10
just something to consider

So since all years are VDO and because I don't have the TPMS light on the dash, I should be good to go? If so, thanks for the information and piece of mind!
