2012 TPMS Compatibility
I'm thinking about buying a set of new tires/wheels and keep my 2008's for spares. Does anyone know, for certain, if the 2012 TPMS is a match to the 2008's? I don't really want to remount two sets of tires if I can just swap them out.

This compatibility chart for an aftermarket TPMS sensor suggests they're compatible. I don't see why that wouldn't apply to the factory sensors as well.
