The shop that fixed it last said if it happens again, they believe the PCM has lost the coil driver, and would need to be reprogrammed. They did not have the ability to program it, and suggested the dealer. Does this sound like a logical conclusion? Coil pack on cylinder 1 was replaced in early August. Then 2 weeks later cylinder 3. 2 weeks later coil pack 3 again, and one week later the same one again. It split the coil pack open the last 2 times it has done this. I am at my wits end with this. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
