Default 4WD Noise

Whenever i put her in 4WH in first and second gear i hear a clicking noise after i shift to 3rd it stops. i thought there was a branch or something under there so i checked even though we just had a ft of snow dropped on us and i can not see anything. does anyone have any ideas. I do have to bring her in for some other problems here and there but i have no clue what the clicking noise it. It started out of no where. and it does not do it in 4WL

Any input would be appropriated

Thank you before hand fellow jeepers

check the boot on the front driveshaft to see if you've lost grease due to it being torn, my rear went and would make a clicking noise upon takeoff and after a few months replaced it with a woods , now im hearing a different kind of clicking coming from the front upon take off and even though im not in 4wdh the front driveshaft still moves so i went under and sure nuff the front DS boot is torn and there is the arced grease mark...just climb under and take a visual....
