Default abs/esp/bas wheel sensor replacement

I'm sure I saw this somewhere here, but a half an hour of searching hasn't brought it up. Yesterday I was messing with my axle and stupidly let the right front rotor/hub assy slip out of my hands. I guess having the rotor dangle from the sensor wire just isn't a good thing. Anyone replaced one of those yet? Part #? A quicky bit of how too? I'm sure I can figure it out. I just hate going into the dealer being clueless. Thanks for any advice.

Had the same problem but mine was due to off-roading. Basically flexed too much and there was not enough slack in the wire. Took it in and the wires were fixed under warranty. Looks to me like they just added some wire and covered it with electrical tape. I made sure to unclip the wire from the axle mount so it has more slack for the next time out. As far as the actual sensor goes, I'm not sure, my damage was to the wire only.

Bump. No one has replaced theirs on their own yet? My axle's so far out of warranty the dealer's not gonna do that for free.

I'm in the same boat. Been looking for a write up all morning. I broke mine taking the hub off to change u-joints. I went to the dealership and ordered a new sensor for $20...now I just need to find out how to do it.

I got my new abs sensor from the dealer. In case someone comes across this thread, the part number is 68003281AA. The new sensor has about 2ft. of wire with a plug on the end. I haven't changed it yet but it should be easy to trace the old wire back to the plug and swith them. No need to cut wires or anything. Unplug the old one...plug in the new one.
