OK, lets see if I can explain this. 2008 Wrangler. I want to be able to connect a tow bar to the front STOCK BUMPER, for short distances only, no more than 10 miles. I cheched out what is available but it shows to connect it to metal bumper.. Any ideas

 

You're either going to be adding a baseplate to tow from, or using the connections on an aftermarket steel bumper. Even if you mutilated the plastic on the bumper to make a connection to the steel behind it, I'd say that was not intended to be towed from and I would not trust the steel in that bumper. You're better off just using a tow dolly in this scenario IMO if you don't want to add a baseplate.
