Any diffenence in 2 and 4 door fender flares
Will the OEM 4 door fender flares fit on a 2 door model?
|
rears are different front will work
|
Just in case anybody does a search and sees this post. 2 door and 4 door OEM fender flares are the same. I did not think there was a difference and ended up taking a chance on buying used 4 door ones from Fortec. They fit fine.

was browsing Quadratec earlier, they show the same part numbers for both the 2 and 4 door.
MOPAR® Fender Flare Set For 07-10 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK Rubicon or X Models Fits these Vehicles * 07-09 Jeep Wrangler 2-Door (JK) * 07-09 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4-Door (JK) Parts Included * Front Left and Right Flares * Rear Left and Right Flares |
I know this is an old thread. However, has anyone confirmed that four door flares will fit a two door?
|
Heard that the mounting points are a little different? Another guru member quoted "you could probably make them work as enough about both are similar enough but, surprisingly, there are some differences in the way they get mounted up to the body."
|
I bought some 4dr stock fenders and they bolted perfectly to my 2dr.
I think that after market fenders are different on the outside rears. But stock fenders are identical. |
They are the same. This is fact. Look at quadratec... Same part #s. When I traded in my 2 door, they switch my flat flares onto my 4 door and vise versa.
