Default Anyone spray paint bumper?

I just did the bumper chop and added VDP end caps. The only thing is now my stock bumper is all faded and end caps and brand new. I have been testing some paint on the ends I chopped off and just wanted to see if anyone has painted their bumper and or fenders? I have tried cleaning them with everything except 303 cleaner but I cant find any where I live. So do you think painting would work?

Glad you posted this. I am interested as well. This is the same reason I haven't done the bumper chop yet.

I used flat black spray paint. Looked great. Then I replaced the front and used spray on bedliner on the new front and on the stock plastic rear. Looks even better. Go for it!

I used spray on bedliner after I sanded and primered. Turned out great and used it for a year and a half before I got my XHD.

Actually I'm selling it now if someone doesn't want to put the work in of doing it themselves up here in NorCal.

After I chopped my bumper, I painted it directly (without sanded) with a texturized flat black paint. I bought a can in Home Depot and the result was great.

The inconvenient is you have to give it a periodical maintenance depending of the place of you live.
