Default Bleeding Clutch

I just recently replaced my clutch master cylinder and as part of that I tried to bleed the clutch afterwards. I turned the knob on top of the slave cylinder about 1/2 a turn, but never got fluid to come out. I couldnt turn it by hand as many stated in write ups. I can see line move when the clutch is pressed, so i know fluid is getting to the slave cylinder. What could be wrong?
