Default Bolt size

I am replacing the fuel tank cover on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler 2 door Rubicon. Does anyone know what size bolts are used to secure the cover.I want to replace the old ones when I switch over.

Why not just go to your friendly Mopar dealer and get them. They have rust resistant coating and correct pitch thread as there are many pitches on metric threads.

When you say "fuel tank cover" I imagine you are talking about what most of us think of as the lame excuse for a gas tank skid, essentially a hanger as I think you are suggesting.

If that is the case, I believe that bolt is the same as what holds on the rest of the skids and is M12 1.50 pitch. I have all my old bolts and just measured my old skid plate bolts.
