Default Brake Pad Retaining Clip Source???

I changed my rear brakes last night and the new brake pads didn't come with new retaining clips.

One of the old clips was slightly broken.

Is there anywhere to source just this little clip?

Thanks

Not a helpful reply - but are you sure they were not missing? I know when i changed my brakes the clips were bad - even broken. And the NAPA brake pads came with a little bag of clips. I could see them being taken out of the box. Just a thought.

The Parts America here let me order the clips individually. It took a couple days though.

I put Duralast rear brakes ( from Auto Zone) on Saturday. No clips. I was lucky my original clips were in good shape.

That might be a good heads up. Check to see if you got clips with the pads or if they are seperate items to be ordered.

If anybody can find a source for these please post it.

I ordered the brake pads from Quadratec for the rear. I got them yesterday & had my wheels off & took my old pads off only to discover the Quadratec brakes were not the right ones. I went and looked at the website & the ones they sent me were the same ones pictured on the site. So they didn't send me the wrong part, it just appears they have the wrong part for this???

So with my Jeep in pieces, I grabbed my wife's car & headed out to Pep Boys at 8 PM.

The quadratec rear brake pads and the Pep Boys pads both didn't come with the clips. I also ordered the front pads from Quadratec called Hawk. I opened that box & they look to be the right pads for the front (I am going to try & tackle the fronts tonight, so I'm not 100% sure), but they don't have clips either.

I only know about the clips because the write up I was following (From this site somewhere) said to replace the clips with the new ones that come with the pads.

A small little piece broke off the retaining clip, but I was able to still use it. I don't feel great about it though, so I would still like to replace it.

I was thinking about trying the dealer for the clips?

TY, that looks like the part number I found from an online PDF catalog as well. $14 for those little clips! lol

Still can't find a place online to grab them. Got a make a run to the dealer sometime.
