Default Broken Rear Seat

The lever to fold down the rear seat behind the drivers seat has broken. By comparision I noticed the two wires that are secured into the handle have either broken or fallen off into the seat. Has anyone seen a write up on this issue? I have a feeling it is going to be a gigantic pain in the ass. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Default Rear seat fix

I don't think it will be that bad to fix. I just fixed the lower cable on my rear seat. I had to put the seat cover and cusion back a little bit till I saw the connection for the cable. The problem you are having is in a service bulletin. Jeep is fixing the problem by reattaching the cables and using a piece of tape to hold them in place. I used a nylon zip tie.

yeah thats all it took, some needle nose vice grips and a screw driver. The cable slipped back to its holder.
