Regular window cleaner with a squeegee. My stock blades don't do so well with dead bugs either. I usually just use one from a gas station. I find myself cleaning them off and out of the front grill too. They tend to show up real well against the bright white. Just using a medium-light bristle brush (that won't scratch the finish) w water and poof. No more dead bugs until the next trip out of the city!

I use "bug off". It's a cleaner a got from a detailing garage i worked in. They were getting rid of it so I took a case. I've had it for almost ten years. Works great.

Also I have use windex but it takes more elbow grease. The other stuff almost dissolves bugs and then you just wipe of off.

After you get it clean, use Rain X, it makes it a lot easier to get the bugs off next time.

Welcome to the forum (though I'm pretty new myself). I don't live live too far from you in Mattapoisett. Bugs are a fact of life this time of year in MA. I have the best luck with Windex, I'll even spray some on a rag and use it to clean bugs off of my grill. I just clean my windshield as often as possible, sometimes I'll stop at a gas station just to use their fluid and squeegee.

I use the squeege at the gas station.
I also got one of those bug defelctors that goes on the hood, it resuces the number of hits. i often see bugs go flying up and over my windshield
