Default Bumper replacement

I own a 2008 4door Rubi and I would like to replace the front bumper. (The end caps are already beaten and dented....PLASTIC you say!) Knowing very little about the mechanics of the bumper assembly I'm having trouble deciding on a replacement and have several questions.

Many replacements come with factory fog light cut outs . Has anyone had issue with the cut out size or mounting brackets on the new bumper .

When bolting the new bumper on and also adding D rings do you interfere with the airbag activation system? (All but one replacement bumper that I've seen do not have crush cans.)

I would like a full size bumper (steel) w/factory fog lite cut outs, D ring brackets and crush bar. Winch platform is not preferred.
Any Favorites??

Thank for your coments

I haven't heard of anyone complaining about the fog lights not fitting right. I've heard of having all the bolts line up to mount the bumper, but never anything about the foglights.

The sensor for the air bags is not in your bumper, so you will have no issues with D rings.

If you didn't say you wanted D rings, I'd suggest the OE Mopar bumper. You could add them, but you need to do some cutting of the crush cans and painting of the affected area.

There are plenty of options. The ARB bumper looks very beefy.

Default Ft bumper

Check out Rugged Ridge, fog light cut outs and easy to mount. Do a search to find the best price.

Default Love mine

My ARB Deluxe Bull Bar is high quality and blends nicely with the stock fenders. But it's not cheap and a PITA to mount with the crush cans, fog lamps and turn signals.

I thought about replacing my bumper with a big steelie but changed my mind. I decided I don't want all that weight. I'd rather trim the ends a few inches and just make it narrower.

x3 rugged ridge has a ton of options and no you will not have to worry about airbag sensors. your fog lites bolt right into this bumper.

Did going to the XHD on the front cause any weight issues leading to change in shocks or springs?
