I should have mentioned my 12 rubicon does the same thing. I'm guessing the vents work off of vacuum still but it doesn't blow immediately when I turn on the air

That might be a possibility. That the vacuum pressure has to increase before the vents can open. Never that about that. I guess I thought that the vacuum systems had been phased out. And everything was of electronic operation. Keep the answers coming. There's a certified Jeep mechanic out there with the answer.

I also noticed a couple of times now, while driving with the a/c on. The blower will stop for 3-5 seconds and then start running again. Has to be in programming but I'd like to know for sure also. Going by dealer this week. I'll ask and see if they can give us an answer. If this is a Jeep thing, so be it. I'm just curious!?
