Default a/c issues

So I started my jeep this morning and turn on my a/c it was not cold it was just blowing hot air so I figured I need a re charge but then the jeep purged from the compressor and all the freon hit my front dif. Never had this happen before should I just re charge? Is there air in the lines building to much pressure from a leak? Need some help so please chime in

Seems like you blew a seal. Re-charging it won't help. What you're most likely seeing is the oil that's part of the system. The freon dissipates.

Is it easy to replace the seal in the compressor or do I just get a new one?
