I have the Rampage one. You can get in 2dr or 4dr. I google shopped it and got from 4wheel parts after price match plus 10% off coupon code for $28. This cover is waterproof, fits back in bag easy after use and takes all of maybe 1 minute to install

Those photos are with top off

I'm not familiar with the new soft tops, but have to ask. All the guys saying the cover doesn't fit with the top folded back....are you folding it correctly? In the TJ days, the top folded into the trunk area when folded correctly and didn't stick up or out. Now, 95% of the tops you'd see on the road were not folded correctly and were sticking up. Is this still the case with the JK tops? If it is, you should have no problems putting the cab cover over a folded top if it is down in the trunk area. It just shouldn't be in the way.

Again, I don't have a JK factory soft top, so I don't know for sure, just guessing here.

Default Bestop Trail Cover

Mine fits with the doors on, just fold in the mirrors. My Bestop trail cover is used only when my top is down, and to cover the Jeep over night to keep the dampness out of the Jeep at night.

So it sounds like it is guys just flopping the top back and not folding it in correctly.

The point I made in my opening post was that the one I used on my two door worked perfectly. I have problems now that I have a 4 door.

I tried to determine if I was folding the top down incorrectly but it doesn't look like I could fold it down any better. If someone has a four door and the best top cover, please post pics of it, particularly how your top looks folded down before putting the cover on, and how it looks once "installed". Thanks.

x2... I couldn't get mine on with the soft top down and doors on. It wouldn't attach to the tub... maybe I'll let it sit in the sun for a few hours and try again.

The directions indicate that the cover is intended to be put on the vehicle "without a complete top in place. The bows should be folded down if installation on a soft top Wrangler.". Step number 6 of the instructions say you can install a cable lock that will attach to the mirror, which means the doors can be on.

You can go to the website for directions. I didn't post the link here because I am not certain they are a sponsor.

Guess I will try again... this thing has been collecting dust for a while...

Any thoughts on this OP?

What is the trick in getting the Bestop cover back into that little arse bag they give ya.
