carpet out?

It's louder!!! I have my carpet out with nothing replacing it. Not than much louder than It would bother me though. It's quick to take it off and put it back... so you might as well test it out for yourself. My only problem is that it's hotter! I was driving with the top down, doors on, and no carpet and nothing replacing the carpet. My feet where freaking HOT!!!... I was wearing sandles. I took the plugs out and it's a little better but louder.

The Herculiner is good stuff, but unless the surface is PERFECTLY prepared, expect it to peel and chip over time in high use areas. I used it on my last 4x4 because I wanted a CHEAP solution (because I couldn't afford better), but would go for a professional Line-X job if I go this route with my JK.
But you can re-apply the Herculiner as needed in the future to keep the wear areas looking good.
