I do believe that there are some carpets that are not completely cut around the rear mounts for the front seats.

No, I still really like it. It is funny, the spot where the Tuffy cubby cover hits the rear door has actually worn down a fair amount. Guess the slick tape wouldn't do much now.
There aren't any spots where it is cracking or anything, and it doesn't change the noise much not having the carpet. Although I wish I had kept the carpet for winter, but no biggie.
It is easy to wash out dirt, but sand is harder to get out because of the "strengthening welds" they put in the floor. Basically, due to the texture, I use a wheel brush on the interior, and then run the hose until all the particles go down the drain plugs. Can't really spray it because I don't want to splash the dash too much.
I think if the price were the same, and they could have done it, I would prefer having a Rescue Green colored interior. I'll probably have them spray the rocker panels, pinch seam, and maybe even the door sills at some point as well, but I'm waiting on doing some other things first.

it is a little louder, not much and only with the hardtop on. As for heat, it was slightly noticable on the hottest days this summer, again with hardtop on.

I had to cut my front two to take them out. I take them in and out all the time. OUt for rainy days and for wheeling, in for everything else.

On the 08 the carpet is designed to come out fairly easy and if you even noticed some of the sales fliers there is a guy standing next to his Jeep with a garden hose washing it out.

Exactly the way mine was. Got a little muddy water on the passenger side carpet and when I went to remove it I noticed that there was a cut from the factory that just didn't quite go all the way. Took out my handy Benchmade and finished the cut (maybe 1/4" or so) and voila!

I took out the carpet front and back. You won't notice the road noise untill you put the hardtop on.

It does get rather warm for hot days on the blacktop.

I did not have to cut any carpet.

What I noticed most was when you drive it in the snow it gets really cold even with the heater blowing on them. I put the carpet back in on the front.
