I have only used 75w-90 Royal Purple gear oil in my axles...don't need any LSD additive with Royal Purple.

I use 75W-90, but the manual calls for 80W-90. It is worth noting that the manual also calls for 75W-140 if you are towing.

I use Mobil-1, and as far as I have found that only comes in 75W-90.

just for future reference, ARB told me not to use 75 140 if you have an ARB locker. They feel one contributing reason why my o-rings blew was because I was running 75 140. Now they did not say it was THE cause but they feel it contributed to the failure.

edit: I was running 85 140 when the o-rings blew front and rear.

and I'm sure this will cause some conflict since this or the 85 140 was what ARB said a while back to use. But maybe in my case of the blown o-rings, they want me to run another oil weight.

I have also seen on other forums that people who used the higher oil had blown o-rings too, but once switched to lower, everything was fine.

Amsoil 75w90 in the front and Amsoil 75w140 in the rear for trailer towing. No additive required with Amsoil.

Personally, I stick with what the manual states which is the 80W-90. My local auto stores carry it in valvoline brand with limited slip additive already in it.
