This is the troubleshooting chart:

P0058-O2 SENSOR 2/2 HEATER CIRCUIT HIGH


  • When Monitored: Continuously during O2 heater operation with battery voltage between 10.4 and 15.75 volts.
  • Set Condition: The PCM detects that the O2 sensor heater element input is above the maximum acceptable voltage. One trip fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.

It needs a PCM, covered under the 8yr/80k federally mandated emissions warranty.

It was the PCM. Just got the call that it was replace come pick the jeep up. Covered under 8yr/80,000 miles federal law.

22,000 miles......anyone else have their pcm fail?

i was under warranty and i had the o2 sensor failure going to wi from tn had it replaced (did not think it was the o2 sensors )How can all 4 o2 sensor fail at the same time? i asked but they replaced the sensors anyway. Got back to tn. and the light went on the shop that i went to had a lot of problems like that with o2 sensors and it was not a sensor problem but the pcm

had the same problem I changed the 02 myself and found some frayed wires due to harness coming loose. Persistent problem had the pcm replaced, and then finally they changed the cats.

I wonder if the long drive I did cause the failure, also your long drive?
