Default Cleaning Jeep Interior

I know this has been brought up a few times before, but I still have some questions maybe some of you guys can answer!During the summer I almost never have my doors or top on, and I live on a gravel road. The inside gets pretty nasty pretty quick. After 1 week you can slap the seat and see dust fly up.

I spent my money from Afghanistan picking up this Jeep, so I don't have the extra cash (as a college student now) to pick up the fancy seat covers etc. I was thinking of pulling the seats out and washing them with a hose or a pressure washer. Ideas? Also setting them out in the sun, how long would it take to dry?

The carpets (with the seats and drain plugs out, I imagine I can just hose down. Ideas on pressure washer? How long to dry?

I think I have the floor mat issue figured out. (flapping with doors off)

I don't want to just pull the carpet out, I can't afford to buy the expensive seat covers or line where the carpet was. Thoughts and Ideas? Thanks!

go to the store and rent a carpet/upholstry cleaner for $25 and clean it all up... Or spend $150 and get the little green spot cleaner carpet cleaner - works great to clean upholstery, just use steaming hot water and a decent upholstery cleaner.

I'll probably grab the cheap seat covers, and someone else toldme about a cheap towel thing for the back seat. the problem is driving the dirt road every day (day driver) it gets very dirty very fast!

Fold the rear seats down when u drive. That should keep the back ones alittle cleaner.

Stoner.com makes great car cleaning solutions, I use there fabrotec spray for carpets and seats makes fluids and other bad stuff bead off, like scotch gaurd, not sure about the dirt but will help with other stuff. they also make a trim spray which is a UV protectant that gives good shine but no greasiness. alos 303 protecant for dash is good too. I agree witht the cheap seat covers, or go to fabric store and get big cuts of canvas you can wrap around the seat as a temp seat cover.
