Carpet cleaner with an upholstery attachment works well.

I picked up a Bissell Litte Green ProHeat machine h ttp://www.bissell.com/little-green-proheat-deep-cleaner/

I got it from Best Buy and works GREAT! I needed it for the Jeep and various small jobs around the house like chairs etc.

I've removed some nasty stains with Resolve carpet cleaner.

I use Tuff Stuff, I have a 100lb. French Mastiff who thinks she has to be in the Jeep everytime it rolls and it cleans up her mess really well.

X2 for tuff stuff. I also like blue magic (I think that is the name, it looks like an extinguisher).

I second this, I bought one for my car and my wifes, thing works wonders on carpet and the upholstered seats. Then go to an RV/Camper center and get some of the Automotive Scotch guard on the seats and get some of the carpet Scotch Guard too (they are different, dont want to mix them up) and you will be in heaven with clean protected seats. Will be the best $$ you've spent in awhile.

Great thread, I was just thinking of this today...has anyone removed their stock seat covers and washed them? With all the pollen and stuff falling into the Jeep with the top and doors off, it looks as if I'm able to remove the seat cover and stick it in the wash. Be curious to see if anyone had done this....if not, I'll take the advice of the other posts.

Thanks!!
