Clockspring warranty change
I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK Sport and feceived a letter in the mail the other day. The letter said that. FCA is extending the warranty on the clockspring to 15 years unlimited mileage.
The letter also also said that if you had paid for a clockspring repair you can get reimbursed for the repair. The years covered was 2011 through 2016.
just a heads up to make sure you don't throw the letter out as junk mail

I don't know about the 2011s but there was a recall on my 2010 I forgot the paper when I was in for an oil change and made the clock spring appt. They didn't ask for it just put it in the system and fixed it. I say call the dealership and ask about it. Any recall or extended warranty should show up in their system.

I called on of the dealerships local to me and asked about this extended warranty and they knew nothing about it. Hence, my request for any information on his letter that I could reference.

So sorry for not replying sooner. I will take the letter to work and scan into a PDF and list during the day tomorrow.

Here is the letter I received for my 2009 JK. Looks like the reference number is safety recall S33. Also Shows S33/NHTSA 16V-290
Attachment 669318
I know that is a little hard to read in the picture so if you want send a direct message and Ill send it in another format.

Download the my jeep app on your smart phone and register your jeep by VIN. It will tell you all recalls that apply. I just got one for my 2016 JKU Rubicon for front impact sensor wires. Great way to see what is needed for recall.
