Default Coil pack

Has anyone had any problems with their coil pack? I have an 08 rubicon with 50k miles and I am feeling mis fires and I can hear the coil pack clicking! I just bought a new coil pack and I'm going to put it on tonight! Just wanted to know if this was a common problem?!

Post Night Running

Just for the heck of it, before you change anything, open the hood at night and run the engine, no lights ; If you have electrical "leakage" due to high resistance, bad grounds, whatever, you will see the electrical discharges flickering around the offending part. The "clicking" you hear might be a spark jumping due to a loose wire boot, poor connection. Not to be a "wise ass", but shut the engine down before testing the connection...
