Default console removal?

I want to take a look at replacing the stock plastic bushings on the transfer case and was wondering if someone can tell me how to take the console out on a 2010 6 speed 2 door. I havent looked real close yet, but have found that the shift knobs can be tough from what I read. I want to get my ducks in a row before attempting to remove it so I know what Im in for. Thanks guys

No problem...that whole cable replacement is a pain. I thought about it but when I found out I could get the plastic bushings for 60cents from the stealership, I bought a dozen and keep em in the glove box. It takes about 5 min to repair underneath the jeep with a 6"pair of channel locks...just something to think aboutt instead of all the trouble.

Thanks for the info. Im gonna look at it soon, havent had a problem yet but dont want to either. Im a machinist so im looking to make bronze bushings to replace the plastic and using stainless steel "E" clips to retain the bushings. Well see what happens lol
