after a time of trial and error i finally got this thing fixed. i changed the bushings in the axle locator rod, replaced the factory 14mm bolts with 9/16 shouldered bolts. just for good measure i welded some 9/16 flat washers to the axle locator brackets even though the bolt holes were not "ovaled" out. even after all of that it still had a little death shake to it. only thing left was tires. so i bought a set of bridgestone tires like the ones that were on it when we bought it brand new. after that no more death wobble. i have not had anymore trouble with it.

i am glad to finally get this worked out. i was on the verge of trading it in on something else for my wife to drive. just so yall know, this jeep is in its stock form with no lift or mods what so ever.
