differential cover change
All,
I am going to buy a new set of arb diff covers and am not sure what goes into changing them out. Any hints, tips, or directions would be appreciated! |

Just did swapped my differential covers out for the ARB ones. Follow WOL's write up and you will be fine. I used lube lockers instead of RTV and it made it even easier.

Great thanks for the tip on the lube lockers. It was hard to find this topic as I usually use the android app, so the search is kinda unreliable. I appreciate all the feed back!

Is everyone using 2 quarts in each diff, front and rear? When I changed fluids the first time with stock covers, I only used 3 quarts and the oil was spewing out of the fill so I know they were full. I have Soild covers now and plan to do them this weekend. Should I buy 4 quarts of gear oil? 2 front, 2 rear?
