Has anyone experienced the door hinge bolts rusting on their Jeep? mine have oxidized and are creating rust. Is there a stainless bolt option?

Mine too. Actually finding alot of little rust spots everywhere on the exterior.

 

yes, there are a couple of threads here about that. seems pretty common... i think if you clean them up and lube the hinge it'll help

 

My 07 JK also has rust on the hinges . So at my most recent service appointment they promised to re-paint them in the spring. I'm not sure if that's good or bad or if I should just get the chrome/silver ones. Anyone had bad luck with touch up or repaint work like that?

mine were rusting internally and seeping out rust stains, others have had paint loss on the outside.

for the record, mine need to be pulled and relubed again, they are bleeding a bit.
