Default Door closing problems

My 2008 drivers door has always needed a good slam to shut. The dealer is trying to tell me they all shut that way. Isn't there an adjustment of some kind or do I have a bigger issue? Seems to be just the driver door.

By the way, before someone brings it up, I read the post from 2006 on this issue but there were no answers there and I'm wondering if someone has another idea since then. The doors seems out of alignment. There is a different noise to the driver door closing but it does not pop back open like the prior post.

I'm bringing it to the dealer tomorrow to have the remote start TSB done so I'm going to bring this up too and see what they say. Since they have greeted all my prior questions with "gee, I've never heard of THAT", I'm not confident they will have an answer.

Roll your window down a little see if that helps.

I've noticed that I have to slam my door shut harder with the hard top installed than I do with the soft top. It seems as if the hard top creates a vacuum and makes it harder to close the doors. It happens on both the driver's and passenger's side. When the soft top was put on this summer, I did not have to shut the door very hard at all for it to close. Just my 2¢

Definately a air pressure issue, mine does it with the hardtop, little less with the softy, none at all with the window down even just a crack on either. Doors off no probs at all

My passenger door has a different feel and requires a slam. However the dealer told me to re-align the door they have to remove the hinge or at least loosen it which could damage the paint. Perhaps a great time for them to re-paint those rusted hinges!!!!!!

Everyone who has this problem has the hard top on, I bet. I have the same issue. Just crack the window a bit like mkjeep mentioned, no problems then.
