Default Door handle question

Hey y'all.

I just got my jeep a couple weeks ago and the previous owner put some chrome door handle and mirror covers on it. I don't like them and I'd like to take them off if possible to do without destroying my handles or leaving a ton of residue on the handle. Any ideas? Heat and light pressure followed up with goo gone?
Thanks!
Ray

Should just be attached with 3M tape. Pull them off and any tape should roll off with your finger. Small amounts Goo Gone will take care of.

Your wifes hair dryer or heat gun on low will help loosen up the sticky tape so you can pry those hideous things off.
Goof off will loosen up of any adhesive left behind so you wipe it off.

Hey, at least your Jeep didn't come with tubular chrome bumpers and matching running boards! Seen some real gems here on the left coast.

Thanks guys! I can't handle the chrome. Just doesn't work for me. Maybe a city jeep, but definitely not mine.

I just bought a jeep myself with this same chrome problem. Did you ever get them off without destroying the mirrors and handles?
