Door help

Wassup guys , can anyone give me step by step directions with pictures of how to remove my door ? I've seen the YouTube videos but they aren't really helping me. PM me

Roll windows down. Remove nut. Pb blaster. Pull them off. Takes some effort, they're definitely not easy to remove.. I just sprayed pb blaster and opened and closed the doors for a minute.. Pulled up fairly hard and they came off

I've had mine off and on quite a few times and they are still difficult to remove. Just takes a good grunt followed by a swear word or two and they usually get moving.

Be careful with the door on the fender while the limit strap is disconnected.

I found that they are super easy to pull off and put back on if you open the door so that it makes a 90 degree angle to the body of the Jeep. So in other words it is sticking straight out sideways. Rock it up and in towards the Jeep and it should lift right up. Much easier to replace if you take that same angle of attack also.

And also, I know people have had issues but mine were super easy to take off from day one. Not sure what makes the difference but I have had zero issues! Good luck man.......

First time I took 'em off, the fronts came out first shot, rears came out with a little help from WD40 and a jack for the first half inch.

OP - if you're having a rough time every time, I suggest two things. First, as someone else said, make sure you're lifting straight up, the slightest variance and they'll fight you. Second, when you have them off, try running a twisted rag sprayed with WD40 or something like that (cleans out the hinge and leaves a little residue).

Good luck!

Also if your hinges are dirty the grime will hold em up, I wd 40 it

I always do what TheRover said to do. Works like a charm every time

If they're stuck on there, best bet would be using a jack (stock scissor jack, bottle jack, floor jack, any jack) with 2x4 under the door. Put a folding chair or something solid under the door and put a piece of wood under the door and just..... jack them off slowly...... :eek2::rotflmao2::rotflmao2::eek2:
