so thats why my bikini safari top looks ugly at the doors? I was curious how in the pictures it seemed to be so square and almost sealed looking. So what are these parts called exactly, I need these!!

door rails? Jams?
Soft top guys speak up.

Oh and you wont like this, I talked to my dealer awhile back and they cost 94$ Per side... They don't look that nice....

rails...

The rails are plastic cheapo inserts so that you can attach your soft top or safari top via clipping it under the rail. They have 6 top screws that bolt them into the roll bars and close the gap between the doors... The rubbers actually seal like on the hard top. I actually like how they frame out the jeep and add depth to the rear door. 180 bucks is worth it to keep your top from flapping around like mad.. Here is a pic...

I'm not a softtop owner, but the 2007 Owner's Manual, starting on page 167, describes removal of the door frames. I do believe those are the parts that you want.

You must live near me:rotflmao1:

I have to call back, today, about a few things I never got with my dual top package. Mainly the zip in windows, and the spacers your missing, but now I know it was all supose to be in a box that I never got.

If you have full doors they look OK with the bikini, With the 1/2 doors they look bad, so I just use the velcro straps.

Does anyone have the part numbers for these? I was just at the dealer and was quoted a price around $350 for both sides on a 4 door. Does this sound right?
