Default Door Removal

Can someone tell me what size torx head i need to take my doors off? The one that came with my jeep (not sure what size) seems to small. I didn't want to mess around and strip em without checkin hear first.

From the PDF'd Manual

Front Door Removal
1. Remove the hinge pin screws from the upper and
lower outside hinges (using a #T50 Torx head driver).

I just got a set of Torx sockets and found that the T45 works best.
T40 is too small.

The manual says T50.

Does any body know what the doors on the 2 door each weigh? I have the roll up windows so there is no motor in the door.

not sure on the weight... i think mine with power windows weigh 1000lbs (thats a joke)... they feel that way because there is no easy way to carry them. unless you put the window down and put one arm through it. but for real, mine probably weigh around 50-60lbs i think? so with out the motor... maybe 10lbs less.

but for the torxs, yeah, a 45 seems to work just fine. i took the nuts off and left them off.

A T45 will work, but its actually a T50. Of course, with how loose mine were, I couldve just used a large straight screwdriver

T40 is for the hard top
