Default Door removal challenge

New owner of a 2014 Rubicon Unlimited. Prior Owner must have replaced upper door mount with a pin to more easily remove doors. Bottom mounts appear to be the stock ones with the torx bit nut. With the bottoms free, and strap/electric, I can not pull doors vertically up. I end up pulling the whole Jeep side up. I tried a penetrating oil and still they will not budge single MM. ugh!
thoughts anyone?? I can’t even take the doors off and it’s not raining - PRIME Jeepin weather!
Thanks! Help!

I find that having the door swung open around 45 degrees is the sweet spot to get mine off. Try gently wiggling back and forth as you gently pull up. I would definitely have a 2nd person there to assist so you don't drop the door.
If you still can't get it, double check there is no mechanical fastener hidden inside the hinge, then use a floor jack with a block of wood under the door to push it up. Make sure you are on the wide flat part of the door, and not the lip! Go slow and watch the bottom of the door to make sure you don't start pushing the sheet metal in.

Thanks! I thought about the wood/Jack idea. I’ll try that after another wiggle attempt.
Appreciate the quick input!

I had to use the wood and floor Jack the first time I took mine off I also had to whack the top of the bolt with a dull chisel to help convince it to come off. I now put anti-seize on the pins when I reinstall and have never had another issue

Ditto this (except for whacking any bolts), but I use lithium grease for the pins every time I pull the doors.
