Busted the driver door restaining strap last week on my 08 4dr JK. Mopar only sells it with the wiring harness installed for the door sensor. I removed the window crank and interior panel with no problems. However, seems there is an inner panel held by 10 screws. I removed those but it still won't come off. Seems there are two 'headless' fasteners still holding that on. The wiring goes thru this inner panel to the door latch. Can I just splice into this wire where it goes in, with the new harness? Will save the hassle of trying to remove the inner panel. Thanks for any advise and tips. (No power windows, locks or alarm on this JK)
