Default Door trim

IDoes anyone bother taking the plastic door trim off when you take the doors off and drop the top? Never bothered with them on my 2011 JK, but am starting to wonder now

I did once just to try it out. IMO, too much trouble to make it worth it. The only way I would do it again is if I planned to stay topless for say a week. Not possible with Canadian climates!

I take mine off if I have my doors off for more than a day. Takes less than 5 minutes to remove them and set them asside. I think it looks better with them gone.

IMO it looks better with them off, especially the rear ones. I run topless/bikini from April-Oct so its not a big deal.I wouldn't do it just for one day though.

I try to keep my top and doors off as much as possible, but living in IL weather is a factor. Think I'm going with if the doors are off THEY come off

I take them off because mine rattle when the upper doors are off and the top is down. Have them as tight as possible but they still rattle a bit plus I like the look without them on. I only leave them on for days that it might rain and I might have to put the top up before I can get back home.

They are simple to take off. I think it's just a preference thing; either you like the look one way or the other... IMO - it's easier to leave them on and I think it looks fine either way

It doesn't look right with them on and the top down, let alone with the doors off too!

It takes less than five minutes to take them off, so I don't see why not. I take them off anytime my top goes down.
