Default e-discos

How do I know if my e-discos are in fact disconnecting? I've never driven a disconnected jeep before i got my 2009 4 dr rubi. Now, when I push the swy bar button and am in 4 low, nothing seems different except the sway bar light comes on. I don't see any increased flex, and the sway bar set up in front looks exactly the same to me.
