Can you tell us why it wasn't covered under warranty? Is your vehicle beyond the warranty period ?

My service guy said my warranty just expired. So I said no worried I have an extended warranty and he said great. Let me call to see if the part is covered. 2mins later he says no its not covered.
I say BS all these warranties and nothin is covered. I even have the lifetime power train warranty. Can't wait to try and use that one.
Oh well. I will be ordering one ASAP and spending a day installing
At least I know it will be done correctly

Should be covered under emission warenty if under 80K I believe. Check your warrenty book under emissions.

Nope it's only covered under 36k miles. Mine needed replaced at 40k. I called Chrysler and they covered it for a $100 deductible since that was too early for it to go bad. Hey at least you're not out $450!
