Default Electrical issue.

Has anybody experienced an issue with their 2009 JK X regarding the vehicle sputtering like its not getting fuel or proper electrical current. I've had the ignition coil literally blow not once but twice. I've had the fuel pump fuse (below the ASD relay) blow the same amount of times as the ignition coil. Mechanic said it was the PCM, sent it out to get refurbished and they came back telling me nothing is wrong with my PCM. The person said it could be a bad ground somewhere. I've replaced the spark plugs & wires. The ignition coil twice and now I'm at my wits end. If anyone has experienced this and has positive feedback on how to fix this problem. Please feel free to message or post. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to JK Forum. Have not experience such; an intermittent grounding issue could be a factor. Group here is knowledgeable and friendly; expect more suggestions.

I'd start by first obtaining a flashlight but make that Stream Lite. And search every inch of the engine compartment for loose wiring, wires that look like rat damage. Rats will eat fiber glass shielding. Some wiring does have a sweetness to it.
Check battery voltage and verify charging.
Now this part gets intense. Disconnect the battery. Negative side! Look at every connector and disconnects, Disconnecting and looking for pushed pins. Look at the wires and do a tug test to see if they pull out. Look for wires that are touching the engine.
This is where I'd start.
This is called Chasing a Gremlin.

I can see why they thought it was the PCM. As mentioned above check all the wiring. I would focus/start with the connectors and grounds around the PCM and TIPM. The other choice is to take it for a diagnostic and they may be able to identify high or incorrect signals and possibly a bad ground, Let us know how you progress.

So I a 2009 JK Sahara edition. I just recently had it in the shop for a no start condition and the shop found the main electric connectors to be loose and not make good connect. they zip tied them together and has been just fine.
