Engine Block Heater...where is yours?

Default Engine Block Heater...where is yours?

my Engine block heater (from the factory) has the cord wrapped up on the passenger side if the engine tucked behind the fuse block. is the dealer supposed to route it someplace so it is easier to get to? Seems likeit may be a pain in the a$$ this winter wwhen I need to use it. Thanks in advance for any help

That's where mine is. I guess if you want it somewhere else you can uncoil the cord and route it where it would be easy to get to.

seems like something that should be done at the factory to be sure that its not routed somewhere that could rub and cause it to fray.

You have a good point, but I imagine they left it up to the owners to route it where it will best reach where it will be plugged in.

I found a way to route mine through the front grille. I would post pics but I aint quite ready to have it hanging out yet, still in the 80's here in The Motor City.
